Some Unique and Interesting Point in Banda Aceh

This Baiturrahman Mosque is located in the center of the city and is an icon of Banda Aceh.


The beauty of Banda Aceh in the evening..

The big power plant ship like this was draged to onshore in the midle of residential area for about 5 km from the beach. You could imagine that the wave must be higher than 25 m when the Tsunami came.

This “Baiturrahim Mosque” at Uleelheue is the withness of the God power to show how easy for Him to protect people who believe at Him. When the Tsunami came, an the wave is higher that this mosque and destructed all building at the surounding area, this mosque that located just beside the beach was still standing there and not broken.

Similar thing happen to the Baiturrahman Mosque who protected hundred on people in it during the Tsunami while building, cars and every things were swapped by the big wave.

There are many beautiful beaches in Aceh. This beach in Uleelheue is one of them. You can see the vesry east island of Indonesia where Sabang city located.
