Riding in Bali is always nice; small but good roads, beautiful beach view and mountain view, beautiful sunset, very unique and strong Bali traditional culture, etc.. Hm.. Bali is never boring place to go. Make use of Independence Day public holiday, a long weekend (17-19 August 2007), some Ducati Riders and their family enjoy 2 days ride (again) in Bali.
Due to a limited time available the Participants went to Bali by air and mostly arrived on August 16, 2007 afternoon or evening. The bikes were sent by truck 3 days earlier and have arrived when we were there. We stayed in a small Hotel in Kuta, Bali. The bikes in the Kuta Beach Club parking slot:
Day 1 (August 17, 2007): Kuta – Gianyar – Kintamani – Ubud – Kuta
Taking picture just before start, in the morning:

On the way to Kintamani
Kintamani and Mount Batur
Not stop too long to see Kintamani Lake, we decided to go to a steep downhill and very narrow twisty road on a sandy area ex Mount Batur’s lava.
Finally we were in the bottom at which people are taking the mount sand for building construction projects:
Cindy (my wife) and I.
We could see the Mount Batur side which is still covered by a dark brown lava:
This Mount Batur view is so unique and beautiful:
Ride down to Ubud.
Lunch at Bebek Bengil, Ubud.
We were so hungry and can’t wait to get the very tasty Crispy Fried Duck at Bebek Bengil Restaurant in Ubud.
In the evening, we enjoyed the beautiful Jimbaran Beach view and the nice Grill Sea Food at Jimbaran Beach for the dinner.
Day 2 (August 18, 2007): Morning-Afternoon: Kuta – Bedugul – Tanah Lot – Kuta;
Evening: Kuta – Uluwatu – Kuta; Loading the bikes into Container Truck.
Hm.. Good break. Day 3 (August 19, 2007) flew back to Jakarta.
ga lanjut ke lombok, pak?
Gak bro. Liburnya cuma dikit. Makanya temen2 Ducati pada milih ride santai di Bali aja, karena Sininnya udah kerja lagi…
