2009 February: Lippo Village Karawaci Street Circuit

Last weekend was interesting. Ducati Club was invited to try and have a Track Day at a new Street Circuit at Lippo Village Karawaci.

This Circuit, was originally designed for an A1 Racing.

24 various Ducati bikes particited and line up at the Padock. I guess every one is wondering what a Street Circuit ride looked like.

For Ducati family, track days are not a serious racing things. It is also a gathering, relaxing and fun..

Media actualy would like to interview Gunawan, the famous Indonesian Actor, but I pretend being more Celebrity than him. Hahaha

Circuit Review:
We appreciate very much to Lippo who has made this Street Circuit in Karawaci. The public facilities and surrounding areas are very supporting. Some facilities for the teams and racers (including padock facilities) still need to be inproved a bit to make it complete. The Track design is fantastic. For superbike racing, it might still need more safety adjustment otherwise it might be difficult and danger to maximaze the bikes on it. Howver, it might be ready to be used for car racing with very little adjustment. Thank you Lippo. Very well done.
