Sunday, 29 March 2009: Jogjakarta – Cileunyi (Bandung)

On the way back home, we prefer to ride and have an easier but nice road though South Jave Inter City Main Road (See the ebove map in green) up to the begening of toll road, up load the bike to the truck and go home by car via toll road. This will save a lot of energy so we could immediately start our business day the day after (on Monday).

Most of us have been there and not really interested in exploring the Famoust and the Bigest Acheological Budha Temple, Borobudur. But, we just would like to enjoy the ride to go there and get some famous Borobudur flavour in the ride…

2009 March: Jogjakarta Ride 2009 (Part 2)

This time we basically changed all riding plans for our 2 days in Jogjakarta. No ride to Pacitan (beach area) and No ride to the mountain area as well. Since we were still a bit tired by a long and time consuming ride to Jogjakarta on the first day, we prefered just to have a enjoyable and short ride in and arround Jogjakarta for the next 2 days and had another long ride back home via Bandung.

Friday, 27 March 2009: Ratu Boko
Ratu Boko is an archaeological site known as Kraton Ratu Boko or Ratu Boko’s Palace. Ratu Boko is located on a plateau. This place is not far away from Jogjakarta city. It is located at the opposite side of the famous Lara Jonggrang Prambanan Temple (about 3 km from the main street to Solo).

2009 March: Jogjakarta Ride 2009 (Part-1)

Long weekend is a very ideal timing for medium range ride. As predicted, this time we chose Jogjakarta, about 500 Km from Jakarta as our target for this “Hindu’s Public Holiday” (Thursday, 26 March 2009) which provided us a long-long weekend… since every one treated themselve as “sick” on Friday (27 March 2009) and therefore we could really enjoy the riding time from Thrusday to Sunday (29 March 2009). Hahahaha…
